“Park MGM will continue its young tradition of bringing new operators to the Las Vegas Strip when LA-based Houston Hospitality, founded by twin brothers Jonnie and Mark Houston…“We have wanted to bring a concept to Las Vegas for years and Park MGM presented the perfect opportunity with this partnership and space,” said the brothers in a statement. “OTR will be the biggest project in our portfolio and we are honored to be in the company of the resort’s next-level food and beverage and entertainment offerings.”… Although Park MGM has opened a few new bar and lounge concepts recently, On The Record is the first real nightlife project announced… will reflect a “modern speakeasy atmosphere where guests can expect the unexpected.”… indoor and outdoor spaces and an “immersive and entertaining hidden club experience.”

“We’re excited that Jonnie and Mark are bringing their vision and talents to Park MGM, their first concept outside of Los Angeles,” said MGM Resorts International President of Events and Nightlife Sean Christie in the statement. “With OTR, they will bring their trademark style and 10 years of proven success to create a unique new approach to nightlife on the Strip.” Born and raised in LA, Mark and Jonnie Houston launched Piano Bar in 2008, followed by nightclubs La Descarga, Harvard & Stone, Pour Vous, No Vacancy, Dirty Laundry, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s, restaurant Butchers and Barbers, and Break Room 86 at the LINE Hotel.”
